Information sent before engagement may not receive the protections applicable to information from an established client.
The firm may already represent or have duties to another person whose interests differ from yours. A conflicts review must occur before representation is accepted.
No promise or guarantee
No lawyer can guarantee a result. Descriptions of experience, services, strategies, or possible remedies do not promise that the same approach or outcome will be available in another matter. Past results, if ever described, do not guarantee future outcomes.
Words describing urgency, consequence, or preparation explain the nature of legal work; they should not be read as comparisons with another lawyer or as a prediction of success.
